Donegal

The donegal collection is made from Irish yarn that has been developed by designer Christien Meindertsma. It is a wool blend with colourful flecks that become randomly visible. The harris tweet is a real Irish. Especially donegal based- cloth/yarn and the spinner we work with is a top specialist in this field.

The design of the rug is a 3D reproduction of a birdview landscape of the Donegal scenery. This is where the irish sheep graze.  The 100% woolen rug has two pile heights. The basis is a loop pile construction of 8, 10 and 20 mm. The ‘grass-like’ pop ups are made in a 35 and 45 mm cut pile. Imagine the liveliness of the rug!

Donegal comes in 12 colours, a series of naturals and some soft colours.

From the same yarn we will introduce upholstery fabric which allows us to make nice combinations between upholstery and rugs.
